Very large lot of World War II-Modern era military uniforms. Some of the highlights of the lot are a heavily worn, late 1800s 5th Maryland State Militia jacket, Type D-1 jacket with broken zippers, M-41 field jacket with 2nd Air Force patch and Sergeant chevrons, blue nurse's cape, N-2B flight jacket, and various other post-World War II uniforms including several woodland camouflaged jackets and Air Force blues. There are also several pieces of headgear, including three World War II flight helmets, a dry rotted type A-11, 1 leather Stole & Klein with receivers, and 1 khaki Stole & Klein AN6542-1, along with a pair of B-8 goggles and A-14 padded receivers. the lot also includes several post-World War II visor hats including 4 US Air Force blue visors and 1 USMC khaki officer's visor hat. CONDITION: Most of the uniform pieces exhibit stains, blemishes, rips, and other wear marks that are typical of used military uniforms. Some uniforms are missing pieces while others remain mostly intact. Very heavy. Overall fair-very good. JLD
