Winchester Model 61 slide action rifle. Made 1962 as a classic takedown model. Standard trademark on the barrel. Left side of the barrel is marked "MODEL 61/22 WIN. MAG.R.F.". Matching serials on the frame and trigger group. Winchester proofs on the barrel and frame. Grooved receiver. Blade front sight and a u-notch leaf rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Original oil finished wood stock and ribbed fore arm. Checkered plastic butt plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with light wear and scratches. Wood has a few handling marks, but is excellent overall. Solid forearm with no cracks. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
