L.C. Smith "Field" Grade side by side shotgun made by Hunter Arms Company, Fulton, New York in 1940. 26" Armor Steel barrels in 20 gauge with fixed Modified and Improved Cylinder chokes, extractor, and raised solid rib with twin bead sights. Case colored Featherweight sidelock action with double triggers and automatic safety. American walnut checkered pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap and buttplate. Matching walnut checkered splinter forearm with friction release. CONDITION: 95% original blue with some small scratches and dings with 95% vivid case colors. Engine turn on bores. 95% trigger guard and forend iron blue. 95% original varnish with storage dings and marks. Perfect bores with light surface pitting around outside of breeches and perfect screws with perfect mechanics. Gun appears to have been fired very little if at all and suffers from storage damage more than use. DLM
