Lot consist of: (A) Marlin Model 39A lever action rifle. Made 1941. Standard markings on the left side of the barrel. Blade front sight with Marbles buckhorn U-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Original case colored receiver being drilled for a scope base. Oil finished wood stock and forearm. Serrated plastic buttplate. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its original finish with general wear and some brown patina starting to form on the barrel. Case coloring starting to show some tarnish. Wood has a few handling marks and scratches. Bore is clean with strong rifling. Mechanically fine. (B) Ithaca Model 51 Featherlight semi-automatic shotgun. Made late 1970's. Standard markings on the left side of the barrel."Roto Proofs" on the chamber area. Round, steel barrel with full vent rib and bead front sight. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Receiver has typical light engraving. Original oil finished wood stock and forearm. Capped pistol grip, with checkering on the wrist and forearm. Checkered plastic buttplate. 2 - 3/4" chamber with a modified choke bore. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its original finish with light wear. A few freckles of surface rust on the receiver. Wood has as few scuffs and scratches, being excellent overall. Bore is clean. Mechanically fine. JWA
