Winchester Model 42 slide action shotgun made in 1940 by the Winchester Repeating Arms Company. Blued round 26" smoothbore plain barrel with bead front sight and fixed "FULL" choke. Blued takedown receiver with push button safety. Walnut plain pistol grip stock with Winchester plastic buttplate and walnut small corrugated forearm. CONDITION: 95% original blue with some light operating and handling marks. 95%% original varnish with light handling dings and nicks. Excellent bore and mechanics. This gun could use a box! DLM
