1943-1948 vintage Winchester Model 1894 lever action Eastern Carbine, serial number 1458224. 20" round barrel chambered in .30 Winchester Center Fire (.30-30 WCF) with standard rifle rear sight, full length magazine tube, and ramped hooded front. Typical for this vintage of Winchester 1894, the front barrel band is flat. 2 piece plain walnut stock and forearm complete with checkered steel buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent plus, with nearly all of the original bluing remaining with minor handling marks throughout. Stock and forearm are in matching condition with no major signs of distress. Action is tight and crisp. Bore is bright with sharp rifling. TON
