Winchester Model 1895 lever action rifle built by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1899. 28" blued round Winchester Nickel Steel barrel in 30-40 Krag with Winchester 2 line address, fitted with integral ramp front sight and notch Buckhorn rear sight. Blued solid frame receiver with plain trigger, box magazine, and jointed lever. Winchester walnut standard straight stock with blued crescent steel buttplate. Matching standard forearm with ebony inlay. CONDITION: 50% thinning blue with some cold blue added in spots. Action worn to a silvery patina. Wood has light coat of varnish added with dings and handling marks. Shootable bore with good mechanics. DLM
