An early bronze locomotive builders plate from the Intercolonial Railway 4-6-0 road number 232. Would later become Canadian National Class I-3 #1529 in 1923 and scrapped in 1925. Plate has boiler curvature and shows damage at the bolt location in the border in the upper left-hand corner and some bolt removal damage in the center-top. An early Builder Plate from Manchester right before the formation of ALCO.
