Double Sided Hand Painted "Railroad Crossing" Wooden Sign. An excellent displaying piece of early Wooden Railway Signage. Side one is in fair condition, showing a large majority of its original as well as hand painted wooden lettering throughout the field. The paint has faded well giving the sign an excellent patina type look to it. Side two also shows significant paint wear but displays very well showing excellent hand painted script throughout the field. Side two shows a small notch made in the wood in the second S of Crossing. The outer edge is trimmed in black and displays well, showing only moderate age wear. Although the sign is worn it displays excellent and is a great piece of early Railroad Signage.
This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.
