Single Sided Wooden Sign for, "Grand Union". Sign shows a unique dark green Smalts Painted field with silver Grand Union lettering. The field is fairly clean and the Sand Paint shows only a few minor areas of flaking and the gold bordering is in excellent condition. The sign shows six added holes in the corners for hanging and the original framing shows remnants of the original black and red paint and is free of any significant damage. The wood of the outer field shows some minor age cracking but is not significantly split and the sign shows its original wood back bracing. Overall a beautiful example of all original early wood signage and a significant display piece.
This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.
