1900 vintage Winchester 3rd Model 1873 lever action rifle, serial number 543847B. 24" octagon barrel chambered in .22 Long with rifle rear sight, full length magazine tube, and German silver knife blade front sight (according to The Winchester Book by Madis, these knife blade front sights were provided only as an extra). 2 piece plain walnut stock and forearm complete with rifle forearm cap and rifle buttplate. CONDITION: Very good, with virtually all of the original bluing turned to an even brown patina. Stock and forearm are worn but strong with no visible signs of major distress and scattered handling marks throughout. Mechanically fine. Bore is dark with visible rifling. TON
