An outstanding Defiance Lantern & Stamping Co., twist wire, double guard, fixed base, bellbottom model. Lid is nicely embossed "BR&P" and "ENGINE" opposite. Globe is a gorgeous, dark red, extended base, embossed "BR&P RR" and "E" opposite. Lantern has been cleaned and clear coated. The correct insert fount has No. 1 outside wick raiser burner. It's one of the best examples known.
