Heavy profile barrel with bead front sight, stippled ramp, on sweated on base. Top of barrel engraved "Barreled by Griffin & Howe Inc New". Rear sight dovetail on a sweated on base, currently filled by a blank. Left side of barrel shank with ".375 Magnum". Eddystone receiver markings. Added aperture rear sight. Eddystone bolt. Replacement stock with ebony forearm tip, checkered forearm and pistol grip. Sling swivels on forearm and toe line. Steel buttplate with trap. Griffin and Howe scope mount, currently fitted with a Lyman Alaskan scope with obelisk reticle. CONDITION: Very good as refinished when converted by Griffin and Howe. Retains the vast majority of the Griffin and Howe finishes with some softening to Eddystone legends. Blue is starting to plum in a few areas. Stock is very good with some minor marks from handling and use throughout. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is excellent with strong rifling and light frosting in the grooves. EMW
