Rare Louisiana & Arkansas Railway C T Ham No. 39 double guard wire bottom model, private labeled for the Norvell Shapleigh Hardware Co.,embossed with Shapely diamond logo and "Norvell-Shapleigh Hardware Co., St. Louis USA" in the dome top. Bayonet fount is of Star Headlight manufacture and has been poorly repaired, includes No. 1 functioning ratchet burner. Lid is nicely embossed "LA. & ARK RY". Gorgeous clear, extended base No. 39 globe is embossed "LA. & ARK. RY" in quotes. This lantern is in desperate need of a competent cleaning and restoration and is an excellent example, sure to be a top shelf piece in any collection.
