Winchester Pre-64 Model 70 Standard Weight bolt action rifle made by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1951. 24" blued Standard Weight tapered round Winchester Proof Steel barrel in .270 caliber with hooded ramp front sight and correct 22 G rear adjustable notch sight, marked with Winchester address and "WINCHESTER MODEL 70-270WIN-". Matted finish action with factory drilled holes for scope mounting with holes plugged. 3 position safety with solid bolt handle with bolt body electropenciled with matching action serial number. Walnut low comb checkered pistol grip stock with blued detachable floorplate, blued checkered steel widow's peak buttplate, and blued sling swivels. CONDITION: 90% original blue with light handling marks and scratches. 90% action finish with light operation wear. 90% original varnish with hunting dings and marks. Good bore and mechanics. DLM
