Circa 2000. A very nice top of the line Spanish game gun built with 28" chopper lump barrels. Blued steel barrels built with 2 - 3/4" chambers, ejectors, smooth concave game rib, choked Modified (Left) and Improved Cylinder (Right) and round brass bead front sight. Top of the right barrel is engraved "Fea. de Espocpetas Arrrieta - Elgoibar España". Barrel's water table has appropriate Spanish proof marks. The underside of the left barrel is marked "MADE IN SPAIN" along with "***" and "18.5" while the underside of the right barrel is marked "****" and "18.5". The sidelock ejector coin finish action is engraved in a Holland & Holland "Royal" scroll like pattern with in a banner on both lockplates is engraved "ARRIETA Y CIA", on bottom of the action "FABRICA DE ARRIETA Y CIA ELGOIBAR". The action is built with Holland & Holland style self opening mechanism, gold line cocking indicators, detachment lever, disc set strikers, gas escapes, double triggers with the front being articulated and beaded fences. Triggers are protected by an engraved and gold inlaid a circle with "A" and "C" on the sides of a Fleur-de-Lis" right edge rolled trigger guard that ends in a scroll engraved long lower tang that also has the gun's serial number "133-00". The gun is auto-safe with "SAFE" engraved ahead of the engraved and checkered safety slide. The top lever is engraved with a checkered thumbpiece on the left side thumbpiece. The reddish-brown Turkish walnut with straight grain and smoky wisps is made with traditional straight hand grip with two fine line checkered panels, drop points, gold oval on toe line with "KJD" engraved on it and a checkered butt. The matching splinter forend has matching engraving on forend metal and Anson style push button release. Pressed into the left side of the wood is the guns serial number "133-0". CONDITION: Very good. Barrels retain 95% blue. Action is tight and functions properly. Breech pin out of time. Forend will benefit from slight tightening. The stock and forend have slight handling and storage marks. Great game gun. (CP)
