This ornate example features a browned octagon barrel with brass front blade sight and large notched rear sight. The engraved lockplate features a reinforced cock and waterproof pan. The brass furniture includes an engraved patchbox and sideplate. The rifle has a figured maple stock of attractive form with extensive brass wire inlay and a large panel of relief craving on the left side of the buttstock. Brass tipped wooden ramrod. CONDITION: Excellent, showing little use with a couple minor storage marks. Mechanism is crisp and functions well. This would make a great hunting rifle. DMG
