Measures approximately 14 - 1/4" from muzzle to cascabel. Distinct with dolphin form lifting handles, cruder on this version than seen normally. Turned cannon muzzle, copper touchhole, elevation controlled by capstan. Padded panels on left and right of main cannon body. Cannon trunnion brackets affixed with wedges. Wheels with iron bands. Even has its own trail spike! Contemporary leather pouch with tip. CONDITION: Good. Brass has a mustard patina and some verdigris froming in recesses. Iron has a smooth chocolate patina and is cleaned in a few spots. Wood is free of any serious cracks or splits. Someone has put newspaper in the tube, but a nail goes through touchhole cleanly. A nice example ready for display! EMW
