Ruger Model No. 1 internal hammer falling block rifle manufactured by Sturm Ruger Company in 1997 and chambered in .25-06 Remington. The heavy barrel has no sights with 2 piece scope bases and attached Simmons 6.5-20x50 scope with Ruger style scope rings. Barrel is drilled and tapped with appropriate screws under bell of scope. Ruger proof mark on barrel and stamped "RUGER NO 1" on action. Checkered varminter style forend and checkered pistol grip with black Ruger recoil pad and metal Ruger cap on pistol grip. Front and rear sling swivels attached. CONDITION: Excellent overall condition with nearly all original bluing remaining. Action turning plum color. Very light scratches and handling marks throughout. Semi bright bore, good rifling, and good mechanics. GFP
