Third Generation Colt Single Action Army revolver. Made 1978. Standard patent dates on the left side of the frame. "VP" proof on the left side of the trigger guard. Company address on the top of the barrel. Matching serials on the frame, front strap and rear strap (under the grips). Round, steel barrel with blade front sight and u-notch rear. Case colored frame and polished hammer. Other parts are blued. White imitation bone grips. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its original finishes with light wear. Grips are excellent. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Mechanically fine. JWA
