Colt Single Action Army revolver. Made 1917. Standard patent dates on the frame. Matching serials on the frame, trigger guard, and butt. Barrel and cylinder are replacements. The barrel has a crudely stamped Colt address on the top. Blade front sight with a v-notch rear. Case colored frame, hammer is polished. Other parts are blued. Imitation stag grips. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its original finish with general wear and scratches. Grips are excellent. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Mechanically fine. JWA
