Early post-War French Production Mauser HSC semi automatic pistol. Made late 1945 after the Mauser factory came under French control. Typical company address and model in 2 lines on the left side of the slide. "MAUSER" banner stamped on the front left of the frame as well. Small "WR" proof on the left side of the trigger guard, used on post-War French production guns. No import mark found. Blade front sight with standard u-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Original brown checkered plastic grips. Magazine is original as well. CONDITION: Metal is retains 85% of its orignal finish with general wear. Grips have light wear. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine has light wear. JWA
