Winchester Model 70 "Westerner" Pre-64 bolt action magazine rifle made by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1962. Blue Winchester Proof Steel barrel with Winchester address and caliber marking "264 WIN MAGNUM". This gun has the 26" chrome molydenum barrel with hooded ramp front sight and Lyman rear flip-down sight. Matted finish action with 3-position safety, hollow handle bolt, and bolt body serial numbered "556925" in electropencil which matches the gun. Walnut machine-cut checkered Monte Carlo Stock with plastic buttplate and blued detachable floorplate. CONDITION: 90% original barrel blue with some light storage marks. 90% action finish with some residue on action around scope mounting area. 90% varnish with some flaking near buttplate and some usage marks on forearm. Good bore and mechanics. DLM
