Lot consists of (A) Izhevsk M91/30 Mosin Nagant bolt action rifle with bayonet. Made 1940 at Izhevsk arsenal. Typical markings on the barrel shank. Import marked on the receiver. Matching serials on the barrel shank, bolt, trigger guard and butt plate. Typical post front sight and rear ladder adjustable to 2,000 meters. Metal components were arsenal refurbished post-War. Stock was repaired and lacquered as well. Includes an original, non matching spike bayonet. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its factory reapplied finish with general wear and handling marks. Stock has handling marks and scratches. There is an arsenal repair on the left side of the stock, at the stock line at the receiver. Bore has some frosting, but rifling remains strong. Mechanically fine. (B) Chinese Type 53 bolt action rifle. Made "1955" as marked on the receiver at Factory "26". No import mark found on this rifle. Matching serials on the barrel shank, bolt, trigger group and butt plate. Standard post front sight with rear sight adjustable to 1,000 meters. Original military blued finish on the metal components. Stock has a light oil finish. Includes original attached folding bayonet and a Russian dog collar sling. CONDITION: Metal retains 70% of its original finish with general wear and handling marks. Stock has a few dings, scratches and handling marks. Bore has frosted grooves, but rifling remains strong. Mechanically fine. JWA
