Lot consist of (A) Colt Police Positive double action revolvers. Made 1911. Standard company address and patent dates on the top of the barrel. Left side of the barrel is marked "POLICE/POSITIVE SPECIAL 32-20 W.C.F.". Rampant Colt pony on the left side of the frame. Matching serials on the frame and crane. Round steel barrel with a half moon front sight. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Trigger and hammer retain some original fire blue. Original checkered hard rubber grips. CONDITION: Metal retains 70% of its original finish with general wear and handling marks. Grips have a few dings and scratches, but are solid overall. Bore is clean overall with very good overall rifling. Internals have preserved in grease. Tight hammer and cylinder. Good lock up and timing. Mechanically fine. (B) Colt Police Positive double action revolver. Made 1908. Company address and patent dates in 3 lines on the top of the barrel. "COLT NEW POLICE 32" marked on the left side of the barrel. Right side is marked "POLICE/POSITIVE". Rampant Colt pony marked on the left side of the frame with "COLT'S/NEW POLICE" marked around it. "VP" proof marked on the top left of the trigger guard. Round steel barrel with half moon front sight and v-notch rear. Factory high polish finish. Original checkered hard rubber grips. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% or more of its original finish with general wear and scratches. Grips are excellent. Clean bore overall with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Internals have heavy grease on them. Mechanically fine. JWA
