Lot consists of: (A) Czech VZ-52 semi-automatic rifle. Made 1954. "she" marked receiver in addition to the standard "crossed swords" proof. Import marked on the barrel. Mismatched serial numbers. Threaded barrel with muzzle nut. Standard flip out bayonet. Post front sight with rear tangent adjustable to 1,000 meters. Original military blued finish on the metal components. Wood stock and forearm with the not un-common black "rhino lining" finish. Includes 1 original 10-round magazine, and attached HK leather sling. CONDITION: Metal retains 70% of its original finish with general wear and handling marks. There is some light surface rust on the internals and around the gas system. Stock has minor wear, dings and scratches. Bore is lightly frosted, but retains crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Sling and mag are very good. (B) Chinese Type 56 SKS semi-automatic rifle. 11 Million series gun made circa 1966 at factory 26 (Jianshe). No import mark found. Matching serials on the receiver, bolt, carrier dust cover, trigger guard, magazine and stock. Round steel barrel with folding spike bayonet. Standard post front sight with rear sight adjustable to 1,000 meters. Original blued finish forming a brown patina in most areas. Stock has correct light oil finish. Includes original canvas sling. CONDITION: Metal retains 50% of its original finish with a brown patina starting to form on most areas. There is some light pitting forming at the stock line on the receiver. Stock has a few handling marks, but is very good overall. Shiny chrome-lined bore with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine, but bolt hold open licks to stick. Sling has light wear. Great example of a probable Vietnam bring-back Chinese SKS. JWA
