Attractive and possibly unfired nickel finished Second Issue Smith & Wesson No. 1-1/2 .32 RF revolver manufactured circa 1868 to 1875. Designed as an intermediate pocket revolver between the popular .22 caliber No. 1 and larger sized .32 No. 2 revolvers, it aptly earned its interesting No. 1-1/2 moniker. This example is fitted with a standard length 3-1/2" ribbed tip up barrel, half moon front sight, and v-notch rear. 5-shot fluted cylinder, spur trigger, case hardened hammer, and smooth rosewood bird's head grips. Right grip has serial number stamped inside. CONDITION: Excellent. Nearly all of the still lustrous factory nickel finish is retained with a light drag line and handling marks. Hammer exhibits still bright case colors showing light wear. Fine bright bore with strong rifling and a few spots of oxidation. Tight lockup. BAS
