Smith & Wesson Model 25-2 double action revolver with case. Made 1975-1976. "SMITH & WESSON" marked on the left side of the barrel. Right side of the frame is marked with the company trade mark and company address. Barrel is marked "45 CAL. MODEL 1955" on the right side. Matching serials on the frame and butt. Round steel barrel with blade front sight and adjustable u-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Case colored serrated wide face trigger and checkered hammer. Factory smooth finish wood grips with "S&W" monograms. Includes factory wood case with blue velvet line plastic interior. Original cleaning tools and papers are inside. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with general wear and scratches. Grips are excellent. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Sharp timing and lockup. Light drag lines on the cylinder. Wood case has some handling marks and scratches. Blue plastic is cracking on the edges. JWA
