Lot consist of: (A) Winchester Model 1897 slide action shotgun. Standard takedown model made 1901. Standard patent dates on the top of the barrel. Winchester proofs on the barrel and frame. Matching serials on the frame and barrel assembly. Round, steel barrel with a bead front sight. Metal was lightly refinished at some point, and is now forming a brown patina. Stock was refinished at some point. Ribbed forearm has a light oil finished. Factory hard rubber buttplate. Cylinder choke bore, 2 - 3/4" chamber. CONDITION: Metal retains 60% of its finish with most areas forming a brown patina. Wood has handling marks and scratches. There is a 3" crack in the forearm. Bore is shiny. Mechanically fine. (B) Unknown maker, air cane gun with accessories. Steel constriction with a black enamel finish. Plastic hand grip. Crude blade front sight and V-notch rear. Barrel is rifled. Includes a wooden clearing rod, Air pump, tool kit, and leather carrying pouch. CONDITION: Black finish is starting to chip leaving exposed areas and some light surface rust. Bore has some light corrosion. Rifling is still present. Mechanical function is unknown. Pump has some light rust and pitting. Tools have some light rust as well. Pouch has light crazing and the stitching on the back is loose. JWA
