1870 vintage Winchester Model 1866 lever action rifle, serial number 38562. 24" octagon barrel with German silver blade front and Henry style ladder rear sights. Full-length magazine tube. Chambered in .44 Rimfire. Blue with brass frame, crescent style buttplate, and forearm cap. Case hardened hammer and loading lever. Originally silver plated. Plain straight grain varnished walnut stock and forearm. Factory installed sling swivels. Engraved in the classic John Ulrich style featuring foliate scrollwork with punch dot backgrounds.
