Pocket Positive double action revolver manufactured by Colt in 1929. Metal components have been nickeled and engraved, with engraving featuring line bordered scroll work encompassing the majority of the frame, with light scroll engraving present on the bottom of the trigger guard and either side of the barrel. Ejector rod head has been replaced and is comprised of ivory. Frame is mounted with custom 2-piece ivory grips. Grips are slightly shy to frame. Caliber marking on left side of barrel is no longer present and Colt address is partially illegible. Rampant Colt logo has been finely re-engraved on the left side of the frame. CONDITION: Metal components retain bountiful amounts of their reapplied nickel finish, exhibiting some light handling marks as well as a small spot of corrosion on the front grip strap. Bore is bright, exhibiting good rifling throughout. Ivory grips are excellent overall. A very attractive custom engraved Colt Pocket Positive double action revolver. MLW
