Beautiful L.C. Smith Crown Grade side by side shotgun made by Hunter Arms Company, Fulton, New York in 1942. Blued Crown Steel Nitro Proofed barrels with gold rib band, matted high rib, twin beads, and ejectors. One of 145 20 gauge produced and one of 41 produced with 26" barrels. Featherweight case hardened sidelock action with double triggers, automatic safety, gold Crown on opening lever with vignette, and dog in circle full coverage engraving. Walnut half pistol grip checkered stock with hard rubber buttplate. Walnut full coverage checkered splinter forearm with roller latch release. Very nice gun with great feel. Comes with canvas period case. CONDITION: 90% fading barrel blue case and edge wear and some small scratches. Engine turn still visible on end of bores. Action shows 40% remaining case colors with most in protected areas. Wood shows usage with checkering worn slightly flat and traces of original varnish. Good bores and mechanics. DLM
