Colt Model 1911 Super .38 semi automatic pistol. Made 1968. Standard markings on the right side of the slide. Left side of the slide is marked "COLT SUPER 38/AUTOMATIC", followed by a rampant Colt pony. Barrel is marked "COLT SUPER .38 AUTO". "VP" proof on the left side of the trigger guard. Blade front sight and u-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Original oil finished checkered wood grips with gold Colt medallions. Includes two factory blued steel magazines marked "COLT SUPER/38 AUTO" on the base plates. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with some light wear and handling marks. Grips are crisp and excellent. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazines are excellent with light wear. JWA
