Smith & Wesson Military & Police Model 1905 Hand Eject 4th change double action revolver. Made circa 1920s. 2 line company address and patent dates on the top of the barrel with standard markings on both the left and right side. Company trademark on the left side of the frame, with "MADE IN U.S.A." marked on the right. Matching serials on the butt and cylinder. Barrel serial does not match. Matching assembly numbers on the frame and crane. Round, steel barrel with half moon front sight and u-notch rear. Factory nickel finish. Case colored smooth finish trigger spurred hammer. Original oil finished checkered wood grips with monograms. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its original finish with light wear and handling marks. Grips have a few handling marks as well. Bore is clean overall with strong rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Good timing and lock up. Mechanically fine. JWA
