1860 vintage Colt 1849 Pocket Revolver. Desirable 6" octagon barrel marked with 2-line Hartford address. Brass pin front sight and v-notch rear sight cut into hammer. 5-shot percussion cylinder roll marked with stagecoach holdup scene. Silver plated large oval trigger guard and grip straps with 1-piece smooth walnut grips. CONDITION: Very good. Gray patina with some older oxidation spots and marks. Portions of cylinder scene visible with wear. Trigger guard retains portions of silver finish with balance mellowing brass. Grips good with some minor impressions and added finish. Shootable bore with fine mechanics. Full or partial matching numbers observed on frame, barrel assembly, loading lever, wedge, cylinder, cylinder arbor, trigger guard, and back strap. Loading lever serial number appears to be restamped. BAS
