Winchester Model 1894 lever action rifle. Made 1940s. Standard markings on the left side of the barrel. Winchester proofs on the chamber and barrel. Round, steel barrel with blade front sight and buckhorn u-notch rear. Original blued finish on the metal components. Oil finished wood stock and forearm. Serrated metal butt plate. CONDITION: Metal components retain 85% of their original finish with edge wear and handling marks. Stock has a few handling marks and scratches, but is excellent overall. Forearm is solid with no visible cracks. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
