Pair of Belgian muff pistols with screw off barrels, folding triggers, composite stocks, fine microgroove rifling. Dolphin form hammers. Lightly engraved with scroll. Butt with trap for caps, trap decorated with a grotesque. Barrels have notches in muzzle to assist in barrel removal. Belgian proofs and a faint "15" are visible on frames. Housed in a contemporary leather case with maroon lining with pull top that hides 2 additional compartments, vacant. CONDITION: Metal has been cleaned in the European fashion over some minor oxidation with marks from handling and storage throughout. One pistol has been damage at the cock with screw broken and at base of cock. Both pistols have dark barrels with no visible rifling and neither trigger deploys nor do cocks hold. Stocks are good with some age related coloration and a few bumps and nicks. Case is fine as associated. EMW
