A very scarce uncut sheet of 8 September 1861 five dollar CS notes, T-36, Second Series, 31 March 1862 to 3 January 1863. Commerce seated on a bale of cotton motif with ship and railroad in background, sailor at lower left. Very scarce. Serial numbered 13042 in red ink on all bills with plate numbers 9A through 16A, each hand signed at bottom for the Register and Treasurer. Printed by J.T. Patterson and Company, Columbia, S.C. Plain back, as correct. CONDITION: Excellent. No creases or stains. Professionally mounted in double-sided framed.
