Lot consists of 2 items. (A) Colignon Patent folding chair. Folding wood chair with S-curved arm rests. Cursory decorative carving along backrest. Iron brackets. Typical Victorian ingenuity characteristic of British campaign furniture and American folding camp chairs of the Civil War era. Underside of chair seat stenciled, "Colingnon's Patent / Sept. 19, 1868" making it fitting for an Indian War officer's tent or field office. A small eye-bolt has been mounted on the underside of the seat to enable it to be hung up for transportation. CONDITION: Good. Some wear to feet. Screw holes with inconspicuous glue repairs. (B) Desk. Very simple, two drawer writing desk. Right drawer with pen or ink compartments. Simple molding to edges. Wear to finish with short, narrow, shallow gouges at left and right edges. Simple rectangular feet and drawer pulls. Drawers with keyhole locks. CONDITION: Good. A nice accompaniment to the Colignon Patent chair for a frontier officer's display.

This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.
