Lot consist of: (A) Savage Model 1917 semi-automatic pistol. Made 1921. Company address and patent dates on the top of the slide. "SAVAGE 1917 MODEL" marked on the right side of the frame. Half-moon front sight and U-notch rear. Factory blued finish forming a brown patina in most areas. Checked plastic grips marked "SAVAGE QUALITY", with an Indian head as well. Includes one original magazine. CONDITION: Metal retains 60% of its original finish, with most areas starting to form a brown patina. Grips have handling marks and scratches. There is a small chip at the bottom rear, on the right panel. Bore is frosted with good overall rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine has light wear. (B) Savage 1907 semi-automatic pistol. Made 1911. Company address and patent dates on the top of the slide. Half-moon front sight and U-notch rear. Early style factory high polish blued finish. Original checkered hard rubber grips marked "SAVAGE/QUALITY" over an Indians head. Original magazine as well. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its original finish with general wear and scratches. Grips are very good with a few handling marks. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine has light wear. JWA
