These shotguns were manufactured in Japan by Kodensha as part of the resurrection of the Parker shotgun by Tom Skeuse; Winchester became associated as they were the first to import the shotguns before Tom had a license. 28" shoe lump barrels with machine matte concave tapered solid rib with brass bead front sight. Legend in rib reading "Parker Reproduction by WINCHESTER East Alton Il. U.S.A. Made in Japan". Barrel flats marked "MOD", "12SS-00110", Winchester Proof, and "OVERLOAD / PARKER REPRODUCTION / PROVED" under left barrel, right barrel with "IMP. CYL" and "OVERLOAD / PARKER REPRODUCTION / PROVED". "H" and "1 1/2" on bottom of lump. Beavertail forearm with point pattern checkering with intercepting spearpoints and a central iron with Deely release, case colored with points. Interior iron marked "12SS-00110" and is partially jewelled. Action with "12SS / 00110" on water table. Standard case colored action with floral engraving and vignettes of pointers on each side. Side panels with tear drops. Single trigger, strawed, with selector. Automatic tang safety. Pistol grip with checkered panel. Skeleton buttplate with wriggle work. Housed in the appropriate canvas wrapped leather makers case with snap caps, pair keys, and manual. CONDITION: Excellent, showing only the lightest wear from handling and storage, most offensive being some mark marks to metal and a slight pressure mark to right side of forearm. Action is tight in face, bore is excellent, smooth and shiny. There is some kind of foreign substance in the checkering that could be carefully cleaned out. These shotguns are very well regarded and the opportunity to buy them in this condition and gauge are rare. EMW
