About 34 pieces total including: 4 large fragments from a heavy artillery or mortar shell, no location but possibly Powells Creek with 6 smaller pieces with that find location in the group. 2 smaller fragments from naval shells, Freestone Point. 1 from Potomac Creek. 5 fragments Potomac River and Dumfries; piece of 12-pound case shot Chancellorsville; 9 miscellaneous fragments or sections of shells including Hotchkiss base, and a CS Parrott-Read base from Fredericksburg. CONDITION: Excavated.
