Lot consists of (A) Regulation 1839 Pattern enlisted infantry waist belt plate. The plate has a die struck rolled brass face with arrow belt hook on the reverse. The plate is marked "Alexandria / May 1960" on a piece of tape on the reverse. These plates with the thin style lettering are believed to date from the Mexican War period but were used during the Civil War. (B) Regulation 1839 Pattern enlisted infantry waist belt plate. The plate has a die struck rolled brass face with arrow belt hook on the reverse. The plate had a label on the back that has since separated. The label is included with the lot and reads "Cedar Mountain / Feb. 27, 1960". (C) Large Regulation 1839 Pattern enlisted infantry cartridge box plate. The plate is lead filled with a die struck brass face and iron wire loops. The plate is marked "Cedar Mountain / March 27, 1960" on a label on the reverse. CONDITION: All plates are ground dug and are in relic condition. JLD
