Lot consists of: (A) Regulation 1839 Pattern enlisted infantry cartridge box plate. The plate is die struck with a rolled brass face and is missing the iron wire loops. The plate is marked "Alexandria / Dec. 10 / 1960" on a piece of tape on the reverse. (B) Regulation 1839 Pattern enlisted infantry belt plate. The plate is die struck with a rolled brass face and lead-filled featuring arrow belt hooks on the reverse. The plate is marked "SB.2" and "Spotsylvania / -Landrum House / Road / August 14 / 1960" on a label on the reverse. (C) Regulation 1839 Pattern enlisted infantry cartridge box plate. The plate is die struck with a rolled brass face and retains both iron wire loops. The plate is marked "Manassas II / Jim Day's House / April 22 / 1961" on a label on the reverse. (D) Regulation 1839 Pattern enlisted infantry cartridge box plate. The plate is die struck with a rolled brass face and retains both iron wire loops. The plate is accompanied by its original label that has since separated from the back of the plate. The label reads "Chancellorsville / Sept. 1960". (E) Regulation 1826 Pattern enlisted shoulder belt plate. The plate is die struck brass, lead-filled, with intact wire loops that are bent. The plate is stamped "BOYD & SONS / BOSTON" on the reverse. There is also a label on the back that reads "Cedar Mountain / Feb. 28, 1960". (F) Regulation 1826 Pattern NCO shoulder belt plate. The plate is die struck with a rolled brass face featuring iron double wire belt hooks. One of the belt hooks is bent. The plate is marked "D.4" and "Dumfries / Greyson's Hill / Oct. 29 / 1961?" on a label on the reverse. CONDITION: All belt plates are ground dug and are in relic condition. JLD
