Lot consists of: (A) Regulation 1839 Pattern enlisted infantry cartridge box plate. The plate is die struck with a rolled brass face and is missing the iron wire loops. The plate is marked " WB.59 / Wilderness- / Turnpike / April 23 / 1961" on label on the reverse. (B) Regulation 1839 Pattern enlisted infantry waist belt plate. The plate is die struck with a rolled brass face and lead-filled featuring arrow belt hooks on the reverse. The plate is marked "WB.60" and "Wilderness / -East of / Brock Rd." on a label on the reverse. (C) Regulation 1839 Pattern enlisted infantry waist belt plate. The plate is die struck with a rolled brass face and lead-filled featuring arrow belt hooks on the reverse. The plate is marked "WB.57" and Wilderness- / Turnpike / March 25 / 1962" on a label on the reverse. (D) Regulation 1839 Pattern enlisted infantry waist belt plate. The plate is die struck with a rolled brass face and lead-filled featuring stud "puppy paw" belt hooks on the reverse. The plate is marked "Wilderness / Jan 8 1961" on a piece of tape on the reverse. (E) Regulation 1839 Pattern enlisted infantry waist belt plate. The plate is die struck with a rolled brass face and lead-filled featuring arrow belt hooks on the reverse. The plate is marked "Wilderness / -Turnpike / April 23 / 1961" on a label on the reverse. There is remnants of a leather belt held in place by the belt hooks. This plate is mentioned in a piece of accompanying paperwork which was provided by the consigner and describes finds during a day of metal detecting. CONDITION: All belt plates are ground dug and are in relic condition. JLD
