Lot contains: (A) A "G" date (1935 manufacture) K98K bayonet with a "S/155G, 134, 0912n" marked blued blade retaining 95+% of its blued finish. The blade appears to have been reblued, and the edge very lightly sharpened. Early Bakelite grips are excellent, and blued handle is 90% with light freckling. The scabbard is a "K" date (1934 manufacture) example marked "S/172K, 0912", with no visible letter suffix. Scabbard retains 65-60% of its reblued finish with freckling over the remaining surface. An early Heer brown leather frog marked "KURTSEIDEL, BERLIN W35, 1937" is attached. CONDITION: Overall very good. (B) A matching K98K bayonet with a "42ddl, 8805d" marked blade retaining 70-75% of its original blued finish. Bakelite grips are very good, and fittings retaining 30-35% of its original blued finish with a nice brown patina throughout. Matching scabbard is marked "42ddl, 8805" and retains less than 40% of its original blued finish with scattered marks and freckling. A Luftwaffe frog marked "L.B.A.(S)' appears to be dated "1938" with a illegible maker exhibits heavy wear. CONDITION: Overall good. WEZ
