German WWII MP38/40 breech cover made from a dark ordnance gray heavy twill, with thin rubber areas to protect the cover from the hard edges of the MP, as well as horse hair padding strips on each end. Three black leather straps, which are still supple, secure the cover around the breech and are closed via steel studs. Cover appears to be unmarked and exhibits only light storage aging. A seldom encountered accessory for the M38/40. CONDITION: Overall excellent. WEZ
