Measures 21 - 1/4" from tip of kissaki to munemachi. Iori mune. Hamon is a nice active midare with nice nie. Mokume hada. Boshi turnback clear. Ubu mumei nakago with age obscuring the yasurime pattern. Mounts are World War II with fuchi, kashira, koijiri, koiguchi, semegane, and ashi with standard floral and roe pattern. Chrysanthemum menuki. Rayskin same. Kashira has a family mon on spine. CONDITION: Blade is in good polish with distinct hamon and hada. Some minor ware and shintetsu. Mounts are very good with expected rubbing to high points of tsuka ito and exposure of copper base from age. Accompanied by a photo of papers. A lovely blade to be enjoyed. EMW
