Lot consists of: (A) World War II unattributed Purple Heart, Silver Star, and Good Conduct medal grouping. The group consists of a WWII 1942 Rex Products slot brooch Purple Heart with a flat enamel, lacquer, and polished phenolic resin heart accompanied by a ribbon bar in the original coffin case. The Purple Heart is numbered "132119" and is accompanied by a Good Conduct Medal. The slot brooch lock catch Silver Star is numbered "71537" and comes with a lapel pin in the original coffin case. CONDITION: The medals remain clean with some light tarnishing and fading to the ribbons. The Silver Star case has two stains on the interior lid. Both cases display well. Overall very good. (B) World War II unattributed Purple Heart and Silver Star medal grouping. The group consists of a WWII 1942 Rex Products slot brooch Purple Heart with a flat enamel, lacquer, and polished phenolic resin heart accompanied by a ribbon bar in the original coffin case. The Purple Heart is numbered "288286". The slot brooch Silver Star is numberd "62913" and is accompanied by an extra ribbon, ribbon bar, and lapel pin. There are also two sets of nice thick bullion overseas bars. CONDITION: The medals remain clean and exhibit little blemishes. The cases exhibit scattered blemishes but present well.
