Lot consists of: (A) World War II unengraved and unnumbered slot brooch Purple Heart medal with ribbon bar and lapel pin in the original coffin case. The ribbon bar features an oak leaf cluster, denoting a second wound. CONDITION: Several scuffs in the medal ribbon and ribbon bar. Some scuffs on the reverse of the medal. Case exhibits blemishes. Clasps function properly. (B) WWII unengraved and unnumbered slot brooch Purple Heart medal with ribbon bar and two lapel pins in the original coffin case. CONDITION: Medal is very clean while the case exhibits blemishes back of case is worn. Clasps function properly. (C) WWII unengraved slot brooch Purple Heart medal with ribbon bar and lapel pin in the original coffin case. The medal is numbered "169544" on the lower left side. CONDITION: The medal is very clean but the case exhibits several blemishes which are especially noticeable on the front and around the edges. Clasps function properly. (D) WWII unengraved slot brooch Purple Heart medal with extra ribbon, ribbon bar, and lapel pin in the original coffin case. The medal is numbered "265154" on the lower left side. CONDITION: Slight scuffs on the reverse of the medal. Clasps function properly, case is very clean. (E) WWII unengraved and unnumbered slot brooch Purple Heart medal with extra ribbon, ribbon bar, and lapel pin in the original coffin case. CONDITION: Some blemishes on the reverse of the medal. Clasps function properly. Case is clean. (F) WWII unengraved and unnumbered slot brooch Purple Heart medal with ribbon bar and lapel pin in the original coffin case. CONDITION: Some blemishes on the reverse of the medal. Clasps function properly. Case exhibits blemishes on the front. All medals and cases range from fair-very good. JLD
